Vivid Entertainment is reportedly developing a sequel to its Lethal Weapon film series for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The studio was reportedly acquired by Sony Pictures Entertainment for $1.4 billion in May.

The original Lethal Weapon was a 1994 film starring Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst that starred Kevin Spacey as former Navy SEAL David J. “Duck” Bongiovanni.

It also starred Corey Feldman and Chris Hardwick.

It was directed by Peter Berg and produced by Brad Grey.

The film grossed $1 billion worldwide and made Cruise one of the most-watched actors in history.
